Hawaii Shakespeare Festival: A modern-day soap-opera version of “The Taming of the Shrew,” plus “King John” and “Titus Andronicus” are featured at what is said to be the most remote Shakespeare festival in the world.
When, where: Aug. 8 to 26 at the ARTS at Marks Garage, 1159 Nuuanu Ave., Honolulu.
