Tour Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks on foot
Walk the trails of Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.
The six-day itinerary, which features easy to moderate walking conditions, covers two to six miles per day.
Participants visit the Grand Tetons, which include 12 glacier-carved summits framing the Grand Teton itself, at 13,770-feet.
They also see Yellowstone, America’s first national park, with stops at Yellowstone Falls, Old Faithful and Geyser Basin, and will cross Jenny Lake on a boat.
Accommodations are in historic park lodges.
Dates: Aug. 28, and Sept. 4, 11 and 18.
Price: Rates start at $2,396 (Sept. 18) and $2,495 per person, double occupancy (single supplement $895). Included are park lodge accommodations, 11 meals, sightseeing and activities, support vehicle, maps and transfers.
