Airfare: $283 round-trip on United from LAX to Knoxville, Tenn.

If you’re headed to Knoxville, perhaps best known as the location of the Tennessee Valley Authority, United has a round-trip from LAX for $283, including all taxes and fees.
Knoxville, tucked between the Cumberland and Great Smoky mountains, became home to the TVA when it was established in 1933. The TVA website says the U.S. government-owned corporation “provides electricity for 9 million people in parts of seven Southeastern states.”
The airfare to Knoxville is subject to availability and must be purchased at least seven days in advance.
