Reggae fans, set sail with Damian and Stephen Marley on a cruise to Jamaica
Ya man, this is not your typical cruise, but reggae fans can experience some of the genre’s top artists on a five-night cruise aboard the Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas.
The cruise, which departs from (and returns to) Fort Lauderdale, Fla., will make stops in Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, Jamaica, before returning. The lineup includes Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Toots and the Maytals, Steel Pulse and Chaka Demus & Pliers, among others. Also joining them are various sound systems and disc jockeys.
Dates: Nov. 14-19
Price: From $1,650 per person; availability is limited. Includes most meals (specialty restaurants and beverages excluded), live musical performances and late-night dance parties. Airfare not included.
