Program lets parents have time to themselves
Parents can enjoy a night out while their kids play games and participate in arts and crafts projects during the Parents Night Out program on July 29.
The city is partnering with the Laguna Beach Community & Susi Q Center to produce the carnival-themed event, which will run from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Parents are encouraged to park in the Susi Q lot, at 380 Third St., and walk downtown, where restaurants will offer discounts.
City recreation staff will supervise the children, who must be potty trained and no older than 10.
Cost is $20 for a Laguna Beach child and $25 for a nonresident. Each additional sibling would be $15 and $20, respectively.
Registration is required by 5 :30 p.m. July 27. To register, visit https://secure.rec1.com/CA/city-of-laguna-beach/catalog/index?
