USC seniors’ final practice ends with tunnel tradition
- Share via
USC linebacker Hayes Pullard ducked, covered and dodged jabs as he ran through a tunnel of teammates to exit Brian Kennedy-Howard Jones Field for the last time Tuesday.
The fifth-year senior smiled. He said his thought going through the tunnel was “Just don’t hurt me.”
Pullard has tried to keep emotions in check to enjoy the fun of senior traditions.
“I’m not trying to get too crazy about it,” he said.
The tunnel was a “great opportunity” to see younger teammates “finish the way we were supposed to,” Pullard said.
