Chris Wilson, a defensive back from Hitchcock, Texas, announced his commitment to UCLA on Tuesday.
After “much thought and counsel,” Wilson decided to “further my education and talent” with the Bruins, he wrote on Twitter.
Wilson, 6-feet-1 and 185 pounds, is the fourth player to commit to the Bruins’ 2017 recruiting class.
UCLA also has pledges from defensive lineman Jaelin Phillips of Redlands East Valley and offensive linemen Ronald Rudd from Chaffey and Kanan Ray from Sierra Canyon.
Wilson also had scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Iowa State, Stephen F. Austin and Texas Southern.
Recruits can sign a letter of intent on Feb. 1.
