J.J. Watt, Houston Texans agree to six-year, $100-million deal

The Houston Texans and defensive end J.J. Watt have agreed on a new six-year, $100-million contract, the Associated Press reports, with $51.8-million guaranteed and a $10-million signing bonus.
Watt has had 74 tackles for loss, 36 1/2 sacks and 27 pass breakups since he joined the Texans as the 11th overall pick in 2011.
Watt was going to earn $1.9 million this season and $6.9 million next season before agreeing to the new deal Tuesday.
