Clippers kick Warriors out of chapel service
The Clippers and the Warriors went to the same chapel service before Thursday night’s game, but the Golden State players said the Los Angeles players didn’t want them there at the same time.
And that bothered the Warriors, adding another chapter to the strong dislike between the two teams.
The thing is, both teams usually attend a chapel service together without any problems.
Apparently the Clippers didn’t want the Warriors with them.
“They want to nitpick over something,” Chris Paul said. “They just want to fight over something. We do it during the playoffs, so we did it during the regular season.”
The Clippers lost the season series to the Warriors, 3-1, last season and felt as if Golden State celebrated too much.

Even Clippers Coach Doc Rivers noticed, when he watched video from last year’s game between L.A. and Golden State, that the two teams didn’t really like each other.
Thursday night was another intense, tough game between the Clippers and Warriors, starting from the chapel service and continuing during the game when Warriors center Andrew Bogut delivered a hard foul against Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, starting a skirmish on the court.
“Right now, we’re uncomfortable with each other,” Rivers said. “But it’s not a dislike yet. Let’s all hope that it gets there, because that would mean that both teams have been playing very well and have probably gotten deep in the playoffs and had a great series. ... Dislike is not all bad.”
