Clippers’ injuries mount; no word on status of latest 3 hurt players
The Clippers arrived in Detroit on Sunday, but there is no word on the status of some injured players because they didn’t practice.
During Saturday night’s loss to the Indiana Pacers, the Clippers had three key players get hurt.
Starting guard J.J. Redick bruised his left knee in the first quarter but continued to play.
Point guard Darren Collison, starting in place of injured Chris Paul, sprained the big toe on his left foot in the first half but he was able to continue.
Key reserve forward Matt Barnes sustained what he called a “bad sprain” of his left thumb but he, too, kept playing through the pain.
The Clippers play the Pistons on Monday afternoon.
