Watch: Cricketer loses his prosthetic leg while fielding ball, makes the play anyway

English cricketer Liam Thomas wasn’t sure what to do after his artificial leg fell off while fielding a ball last week.
But his indecision didn’t last long. Check this out:
“I was sprinting for the ball, put my hand out, hit the deck hard and the next thing I know I stood up and had no leg," Thomas told CNN. "I didn't know whether to grab the leg or get the ball in. I decided to go for the ball."
Thomas was playing for England in the final of a tournament in Dubai for people with physical disabilities. He said he he thinks the heat caused his leg's socket to expand and loosen before the limb fell off.
His performance is receiving quite a bit of attention, and Thomas said he hopes it helps encourage others with physical disabilities to get involved in sports.
"Don't be afraid, no matter what sport it is," he said.
