Update: The Syracuse shuttle has been busy, at least one way. Joining the Ducks on Monday at practice in Chicago was left wing Patrick Maroon, who was recalled from Syracuse earlier in the day. Enforcer JF Jacques has joined the team from Syracuse for the start of this seven-game trip but will need to finish serving a five-game suspension. A decision is looming for the Ducks: Does forward Devante Smith-Pelly stay with them or go back to his junior team? They will have to decide by his ninth game with the Ducks.
