Update: Clint Dempsey and the first-place Sounders return to Southern California for the second of three regular-season games between the clubs. The Sounders beat Chivas USA, 2-1, April 19 at StubHub Center. Chivas USA is coming off a 3-0 loss to the Galaxy on Sunday, which extended its winless streak to seven games. Chivas USA has not scored in its last six games and against the Sounders it will be without its leading scorer, Erick Torres, who is playing with Mexico’s national team. Seattle defeated the Colorado Rapids, 1-0, Saturday.
