Football: Bakersfield 42, Del Oro 17
Bakersfield has opened a 42-17 lead over Loomis Del Oro through three quarters in the CIF state Division I championship bowl game at StubHub Center in Carson.
Jeremiah Reddick scored on a 47-yard run and Derrick Vickers added a short touhdown run after Desmond Stancil returned an interception to the Del Oro 1-yard line.
