Girls’ volleyball: Taft hands Chatsworth its first West Valley League defeat
So much for certainty in West Valley League and City Section girls’ volleyball.
Chatsworth had been the hot team, knocking off Granada Hills and El Camino Real.
But Taft put a stop to the Chancellors’ momentum on Wednesday night with a 25-22, 25-20, 13-25, 25-20 victory.
Maya Steward had 16 kills and four blocks. Madison Pincus had 28 digs and Samantha Hakimi added 12 kills.
Combined with Granada Hills’ victory over El Camino Real, the West Valley League is suddenly up for grab again.
