Football: Venice 21, Chaminade 21
Cory Watkins’ three-yard touchdown run with 4:21 left in the second quarter has enabled Chaminade to tie Venice, 21-21. The Eagles have scored 21 consecutive points.
Donovan Lee earlier contributed two touchdown runs.
Update: At halftime, Venice leads Chaminade, 33-28.
Chaminade had four turnovers in the first half _ two interceptions and two fumbles. Brad Kaaya is 16 of 25 for 223 yards and one touchdown. Alexander Diamont of Venice is eight of 15 for 155 yards and one touchdown.
