Football: St. John Bosco is preparing for Bishop Gorman
- Share via
Las Vegas Bishop Gorman is ranked No. 1 in the nation by several publications, but St. John Bosco has plenty of firepower to challenge the Gaels.
Running back Terrance Beasley is averaging 11.5 yards per carry after two games with 321 yards rushing. Quarterback Re-al Mitchell is also averaging 11.5 yards per carry with 149 yards rushing and three touchdowns.
It’s pretty clear that Bishop Gorman will need to stop the big play.
On defense, St. John Bosco has recorded consecutive shutouts, and the leading tacklers are linebackers Travis Tuitasi and Cross Poyer. Each has 10 individual tackles.
Friday’s game will be at 7:30 p.m. at Long Beach Veterans Memorial Stadium and televised on Prime Ticket.
