Football: Sophomore QB Blake Archuleta gives hope to Bishop Amat
- Share via
It’s not easy being thrown in to big-time Division 1 high school football as a sophomore quarterback.
Blake Archuleta of Bishop Amat has taken on the challenge and is getting better each week, which is all a coach can ask for.
The Lancers are 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the Mission League. He has passed for 590 yards and three touchdowns while completing 63% of his passes.
Most impressively is that he has zero interceptions after attempting 82 passes. Avoiding mistakes and making good decisions provides evidence Archuleta has a bright future.
