Football: Nick Robinson is the overlooked QB in Trinity League
There are lots of good quarterbacks in the Trinity League, from Josh Rosen of St. John Bosco to Travis Waller of Servite.
Nick Robinson of JSerra gets overlooked, but that would be a mistake.
The senior is already off to a good start, with 243 yards passing against Long Beach Cabrillo in his opener and 204 yards and four touchdown passes last week against Chino Hills. He has completed 35 of 49 passes without an interception.
JSerra (2-0) barely missed making the Pac-5 playoffs for the first time last season and will try again with Robinson leading the way.
Robinson makes plays when needed for the Lions. There’s going to be lots of pressure-filled games in the weeks ahead, and having a senior like him should help.
