Watching 6-foot-5, 325-pound Tyson Pauling of Silverado attack the buffet at Monday’s Southern Section championship football luncheon in Long Beach was a sight to behold.
Not once but twice he took a clean plate and filled it up. Then he grabbed dessert.
There’s nothing better for a lineman than a free buffet. And he earned his buffet by helping Silverado reach the Division 9 final.
Asked how much he can eat, Pauling said, “I ate a couple hours ago.”
Yes, he can eat and eat.
St. John Bosco lineman Wyatt Davis also has a good appetite. It looked like he didn’t eat enough at Thanksgiving.
