Football: Glendora sophomore QB Matt Fink is making impact
- Share via
Matt Fink is a 6-foot-3 sophomore quarterback at Glendora who’s 2-0 in his varsity career and creating excitement about the future.
He passed for 227 yards and two touchdowns in a season-opening win over Claremont. And he had the game-winning touchdown pass last week in an overtime victory over Bonita.
“He’s mature,” Coach Jerry Lewallen said. “He doesn’t act like a sophomore.”
He’s athletic with a strong arm, and combine that with his size makes him an intriguing college prospect.
“I’ve been putting his name out there,” Lewallen said. “He’s one of those kids who will play on Saturdays.”
