Football: Franklin is 2-0 under first-year Coach Narciso Diaz
Narciso Diaz has Los Angeles Franklin at 2-0 in his rookie season as a head coach.
In a 27-0 win over Belmont on Friday, senior running back Juan Ramos scored three touchdowns and tight end-defensive end Cesar Jimenez made major contributions on offense and defense. Royal Israel had 125 all-purpose yards and five tackles and an interception.
Franklin, which plays in City Section Division II, should find out more about its team with games against Bell and South Gate over the next two weeks.
