Football: Crespi, Bishop Amat, Serra share Mission League title

Crespi, Bishop Amat and Serra came through with victories on Friday night to earn a share of the Mission League championship. After coin flips, Crespi will go as the No. 1 seed from the league, Bishop Amat No. 2 and Serra No. 3.
Crespi fought off a valiant effort by Alemany to defeat the Warriors, 34-21. Fourth-quarter interceptions by Zari Leacock and Chris May keyed the Celts’ victory. TJ Brumfield added a 78-yard touchdown run and had another TD run.
Bishop Amat defeated Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 38-24. Serra defeated Loyola, 56-31.
