Boys’ basketball: They love London Perrantes in Virginia
Virginia fans may never let London Perrantes out of the state to come home to Southern California to even visit. They love him too much.
The freshman point guard from Encino Crespi delivered the game-winning assist on Sunday for a winning three-point shot in Virginia’s 48-45 victory over Pittsburgh, sending Virginia to 8-1 in the ACC.
Perrantes is used to pressure from his many close games in the point-guard talented Mission League.
He played 34 minutes, had zero turnovers, two points and four assists.
And since Pittsburgh Coach Jamie Dixon is a Sherman Oaks Notre Dame grad, I’m sure Perrantes didn’t mind beating an alumnus from his rival school.
