Boys’ basketball: Sierra Canyon is No. 1 in MaxPreps preseason rankings

Sierra Canyon has been ranked No. 1 in MaxPreps.com’s preseason national basketball rankings.

The Trail Blazers return most of their top players and have added 6-foot-10 Marvin Bagley III, perhaps the No. 1 junior player in the country.

Bishop Montgomery is ranked No. 7, Santa Ana Mater Dei is No. 9 and Chino Hills No. 15.
