Boys’ basketball: Sedrick Barefield commits to SMU

Junior point guard Sedrick Barefield of Corona Centennial has committed to SMU, Coach Josh Giles said.
“It’s such a great fit for him,” Giles said of SMU, whose coach is Larry Brown.
Barefield has emerged as one of the top point guards in Southern California.
