Boys’ basketball: College coaches are making gym visits this week

College basketball coaches are showing up at gyms this week starting to evaluate prep players.
At St. John Bosco, recruiters from UCLA and Arizona were in the bleachers looking at junior forward Vance Jackson. San Diego State is set for Wednesday.
At Maranatha, recruiters from California, Arizona State and Cal Poly SLO were watching senior guard Tyler Dorsey and junior center Trevor Stanback.
At Chaminade, recruiters from Auburn, UC Irvine and UC Davis were evaluating senior guard Michael Oguine.
At Sierra Canyon, Auburn, USC, Pepperdine, Michigan, Arizona and Cal Poly SLO made visits.
