Baseball: Zak Nocon throws complete game to lift Aliso Niguel

Zak Nocon threw a complete game, scattering nine hits in Aliso Niguel’s 3-1 victory over Capistrano Valley on Monday.
Zach Bowman and Hunter Jump each had two hits. Malone Wright went three for three for Capistrano Valley.
Saugus 6, Peninsula 5: Michael Fraizer had two hits and three RBIs for the Centurions in an eight-inning victory. Caden Salkeld threw two innings of relief to get the win.
North 9, Rancho Verde 0: Christian Koss went four for four and Manny Galvan added three hits and three RBIs. Dvid Magallanez struck out seven in 6 2/3 innings.
Beckman 4, Paramount 3: Beckman scored two runs in the seventh and one in the eighth to pull out the win. Jack Owens contributed three hits and Matt McLain had two hits.
Redondo 5, Bishop Montgomery 3: The Sea Hawks improved to 14-0. Jason Dicochea, Zach Boesen and Jacob Springman each had two hits.
Verdugo Hills 2, Granada Hills 0: Clay Suggs threw the shutout.
