Baseball: Vista Murrieta sweeps doubleheader
The weather in Palm Desert was dry enough for Palm Desert and Vista Murrieta to play a doubleheader on Saturday in baseball, and Vista Murrieta came away with victories of 7-5 and 9-1.
Sophomore Jack Moberg threw six shutout innings in the first game and contributed two hits. Coltin Gerhart hit a three-run home run in the second game.
