Baseball: Edison is headed to Japan for summer trip
- Share via
Baseball players at Huntington Beach Edison had better start practicing their Japanese and make sure they have a passport, because 23 players and five coaches are headed to Japan beginning next week to play five games and do a little touring.
Their trip is scheduled for July 19 to July 27. They play a game in Toyko, then take a bullet train to Anjo to play their final four games.
They’re planning to go see a professional game at the Tokyo Dome.
Among the coaches making the trip is their new assistant, Chris Sorce, who used to be the pitching coach at Fountain Valley.
