Baseball: Chatsworth could be without Tommy Palomera
- Share via
Just as West Valley League play is scheduled to begin next week, Chatsworth could be without its No. 1 pitcher, Tommy Palomera.
Palomera injured his knee landing awkwardly and has a doctor’s appointment scheduled for next week, Coach Tom Meusborn said.
Another Chatsworth pitcher, Josh Garcia, hyperextended his elbow on his non-throwing arm and is trying to recover. He’s probable to throw.
Chatsworth is scheduled to open against Birmingham on Wednesday and Friday. Ryan Roche, who has pitched well as a No. 3 pitcher, is likely to move up into the rotation if Palomera can’t pitch.
