La Cañada St. Francis (8-0, 3-0)
at L.A. Cathedral (8-0, 3-0), 7 p.m.
First place in the Angelus League is on the line. St. Francis’ wins over Dorsey and La Serna have prepared the Golden Knights for the speed of the Phantoms, but somebody better block Hunter Echols to protect QB Michael Bonds. In a similar challenge, Cathedral needs to block Gabriel Grbavac to protect quarterbacks Andrew Tovar and Bryce Young. The pick: St. Francis.
San Pedro (7-1, 3-0) vs. Harbor City Narbonne (8-0, 3-0)
at El Camino College, 7 p.m.
Narbonne’s defense will have to make sure it contains quarterback Austin Jackson and doesn’t let the Pirates’ power rushing attack grind out yards. Narbonne quarterback Jalen Chatman needs to limit any mistakes and get the ball to his playmakers. The pick: Narbonne.
