Running back: Sean McGrew, St. John Bosco, 5-8, 175, Jr. Rushed for 1,814 yards and 28 touchdowns, including a 386-yard performance in a game against JSerra.

Running back: Chris Rom-Toribio, La Quinta, 5-7, 160, Sr. Turbocharged runner rushed for 3,010 yards and scored 46 touchdowns. Has a 4.6 grade-point average.

Wide receiver: Trent Irwin, Hart, 6-2, 190, Sr. Caught 106 passes for 1,974 yards and 22 touchdowns this season. Set state career records with 285 receptions and 5,272 yards.

Wide receiver: Javon McKinley, Corona Centennial, 6-2, 195, Jr. Averaged 21.3 yards a catch, making 97 receptions for 2,062 yards and 25 touchdowns for the Pac-5 Division champions.

Wide receiver: Tyler Vaughns, Bishop Amat, 6-1, 170, Jr. The Mission League’s best offensive player caught 83 passes for 1,183 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Offensive line: Matt Katnik, St. John Bosco, 6-4, 316, Sr. Made his last season of football memorable as the top blocker in the Trinity League. Headed to USC as a shot putter.

Offensive line: Vaimoe Sekona, Crespi, 6-4, 289, Sr. A big reason Crespi was so successful running the ball was the Oklahoma State-bound Sekona, a large, powerful blocker.

Offensive line: Austin Maihen, Santa Margarita, 6-5, 288, Sr. Whether blocking for the pass or the run, the Stanford-bound Maihen helped make the Eagles’ offense thrive.

Offensive line: Cole Smith, Mission Viejo, 6-3, 265, Sr. The USC-bound Smith helped the Diablos win the West Valley Division championship by showing the impact a center can have.

Offensive line: Zach Okun, Newbury Park, 6-4, 310, Sr. The Oregon-bound Okun was the lineman of the year in Ventura County playing offensive guard.

Kicker: Kevin Robledo, Westlake, 6-1, 170, Sr. Made 11 of 15 field goals this season to finish with a state-record 42 field goals in his career.

Defensive line: Joseph Wicker, Long Beach Poly, 6-4, 275, Sr. Feared pass rusher finished with 17 1/2 sacks as he found ways to disrupt offenses with relentless effort.

Defensive line: Malik McMorris, Mater Dei, 6-0, 290, Sr. The Trinity League’s co-defensive player of the year had 40 tackles as the leader of one of the best defenses in the Southland.

Defensive line: Rick Wade, Santa Margarita, 6-6, 240, Sr. The UCLA-bound Wade had 97 tackles and was co-lineman of the year in the Trinity League.

Defensive line: Rasheem Green, Gardena Serra, 6-5, 285, Sr. Appeared at times like a man playing among boys, contributing eight sacks and dominating in the trenches.

Linebacker: Josh Woods, Upland, 6-3, 210, Sr. With 11 sacks among 92 tackles, the UCLA-bound Woods made an impact on play after play.

Linebacker: John Houston, Gardena Serra, 6-3, 218, Sr. Houston participated in 147 tackles as the top defensive player in the Mission League.

Linebacker: D.J. Beavers, Crespi, 6-3, 200, Sr. The Washington-bound Beavers led Crespi in tackles with 113, including four sacks.

Defensive back: Iman Marshall, Long Beach Poly, 6-1, 185, Sr. Among safeties, Marshall set the standard for excellence with his hard hits and stellar pass coverage.

Defensive back: Ykili Ross, Riverside Poly, 6-2, 185, Sr. Along with catching 15 touchdown passes, Ross was a standout tackler and pass defender for the 13-1 Bears.¿

Defensive back: Jabari Minix, Carson, 6-0, 165, Sr. The City Section Division I player of the year could play any position, hurting opponents with runs, receptions, kickoff returns and interceptions.

Defensive back: Isaiah Armstrong, Redlands East Valley, 6-2, 180, Sr. Made a school-record 12 interceptions for the Inland Division and Division II bowl champions.

Punter: Bryce Pasky, Paso Robles, 5-10, 175, Sr. Averaged 39.4 yards on punts and also made eight of 11 field goals for the Northern Division champions.
