$1,800 in shears stolen from Costa Mesa beauty store
Someone stole $1,800 worth of haircutting shears from a beauty supply store in Costa Mesa after breaking in early Wednesday, according to police.
A burglar threw a rock through the front window of Sally Beauty Supply in the 2200 block of Harbor Boulevard around 4:10 a.m., Costa Mesa police Sgt. Doug Johnson said.
After grabbing the shears, the person quickly left, according to police.
Police had no immediate information on possible suspects.
