Body discovered after fire inside Hawthorne auto body shop

Authorities discovered a body inside a Hawthorne auto body shop where a fire broke out early Friday morning.
At least five fire vehicles and 40 fire personnel were dispatched to a fire at 3252 W. Rosecrans Ave. around 4:14 a.m., Los Angeles County Fire Dispatch Supervisor Rey Dong said. It was knocked down about 30 minutes later, he said.
Dong said the gender and age of the deceased person were still unknown.
Investigators were still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
