Glendale police are working to identify a man and woman captured on security camera footage that shows food kiosk burglaries at the Americana at Brand.
Break-ins at the Richie Palmer’s Pizza and Häagen-Dazs kiosks occurred around 4:20 a.m. on July 28, according to a police crime bulletin.
Video from one of the stores shows a woman opening a sliding glass service window and a man entering through it. The man hits his head on the floor, appearing to momentarily knock himself unconscious, before recuperating and exiting through the window.
Police say the thieves got away with $980 cash at one of the kiosks but did not specify which one, officials told the Glendale News-Press.
The male suspect is described as 19 to 23 years old, 5 foot 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. He has shaggy blond or light brown hair.
The woman appears to be between 17 and 23 years old, 5 foot 3 inches tall, 140 pounds. She has long, possibly brown hair.
Police are asking anyone who can help identify the suspects to call detectives at (818) 548-2097.
