Reader photo: From where I stand
In April 2009 -- long before the hashtag #fromwhereIstand was conceived on Instagram -- photographer Karla Kelley stood outside a theater in Hollywood waiting for her media credentials.
“I spotted the graffiti stencil on the ground and decided to kill time by shooting cleverly composed shots of my feet,” she said. “It has since become a favorite social media profile pic.”
Kelley, who shot the throwback image with a Nikon D200, also heads up the Instagram group @IGLA (Instagram Lovers Anonymous).
