L.A. fire stations open to the public for fire service day

The Los Angeles Fire Department will open all its fire stations to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in celebration of “Fire Service Recognition Day” in Los Angeles.
The department hosts this annual open house to increase community awareness, particularly during fire season, officials said. This year’s celebration includes station tours, displays of firefighting equipment and a “hands-only” CPR demonstration at the following fire stations:

The CPR training, taught by members of the LAFD community emergency response teams, will not provide certification upon completion.
