The report of the explosion came in about 6 p.m. in the 3300 block of Gray Street, said Jack Dejong, a spokesman for the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
The explosion caused severe structural damage to the home, which was a secondary house behind another home, Dejong said.
A man was found wandering nearby with critical inures and a woman was found in rubble with critical injuries, Dejong said. Both were taken to a hospital.
The body of another man was located under rubble, but emergency crews have not been able to get to it for removal, Dejong said.
