Child killed when hit by San Diego city water truck
A 1-year-old boy died after he darted into the street and was struck by a San Diego city water truck, police said Thursday.
The accident, in the Logan Heights neighborhood, occurred while the boy’s grandmother was diverted for a moment.
The boy was taken to Rady Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating.
