Earthquake: 3.1 quake strikes near Loma Linda

A shallow magnitude 3.1 earthquake was reported Monday morning two miles from Loma Linda, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 1:29 a.m. PST at a depth of 9.9 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was three miles from Redlands, four miles from Grand Terrace and five miles from Moreno Valley.
In the past 10 days, there have been two earthquakes magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
