Earthquake: 3.0 quake strikes near Greenfield, Calif.
A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Thursday evening 14 miles from Greenfield, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 8:10 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 5.0 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 15 miles from King City, Calif., 18 miles from Soledad, Calif., 37 miles from Hollister, Calif., and 151 miles from Sacramento.
