Celebrity home flippers Amanda Pays and her husband, actor Corbin Bernsen, have remodeled a mid-century ranch home in Valley Village and listed it at $925,000.
Set on a cul-de-sac, the 2,036-square-foot house features exposed beam ceilings, wainscoting, a wood-burning fireplace and French doors. The updated galley kitchen has Moroccan tile accents, chalk board paint, stainless-steel appliances and a breakfast bar that opens to a family room. There are three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
Pays, an interior designer as well as an actress, and Bernsen gravitate to older homes, trying to bring back some of the homes’ original grandeur while updating them for modern living.
Bernsen, 59, became known for the role of suave lawyer Arnie Becker on “L.A. Law” (1986-94). He also appears in “Psych,” “The Young and the Restless” and “The Glades.”
