Hydasha Mayo had six kills and two blocks and Cindy Lopez had 13 assists and 22 service points for Grant (5-1, 2-1) at Hollywood (5-1, 2-1).

Verdugo Hills d. Canoga Park 25-17, 25-9, 25-14
Crystal Perryman had 12 kills, Sara Bonet had 11 kills and 11 digs and Jennifer Espindola had 19 assists and three aces for Verdugo Hills (7-3, 3-0). Canoga Park falls to 2-4, 0-3 in league.

WEST VALLEY LEAGUE

Chatsworth d. Taft, 25-23, 29-27, 25-23
Chelsea Duran had six of her 17 kills and Bea Ramos had seven of her 15 kills in the second game to lead Chatsworth (5-1, 3-0) at Taft (3-3, 2-1). Jackie Tomas added 39 assists and three aces for the Chancellors.

COLISEUM LEAGUE

Manual Arts d. Locke, 25-10, 25-10, 25-9
Jennifer Reyna had seven aces and Stephanie Ferrell and Virginia Flores each had five kills to lead Manual Arts (6-0, 3-0).

FREEWAY LEAGUE

Valley Alternative d. Bravo, 25-19, 25-17, 25-19
Louisa Umana had 11 kills, six service aces and eight digs to lead visiting Valley Alternative (6-0-, 3-0).

Sylmar d. Granada Hills Kennedy, 25-15, 25-17, 25-10

Laura Sandoval had 13 kills, Julie Bracamontes had nine kills and eight digs and Sylvia Loza had eight kills and five blocks to lead visiting Garfield (4-1, 2-0), which recorded its 70th straight Eastern League victory. The streak for the Bulldogs includes six league championships.

MARINE LEAGUE

Carson d. Gardena, 25-8, 25-15, 25-12
Mary Laupepa had nine kills and four aces and Melissa Moimoi had 20 assists, four kills and three aces for visiting Carson (5-0, 2-0). Michelle Garcia added four aces and Terrona Sale had three kills and two aces for Carson. Gardena is 1-1 in league.

Verdugo Hills d. North Hollywood, 25-6, 25-11, 25-9
Crystal Perryman had nine kills and two aces and Sara Bonet added 10 assists and four aces for Verdugo Hills (6-3, 2-0). Host North Hollywood is 1-4, 0-2 in league.

Senior outside hitter Bea Ramos had 11 kills and junior middle blocker Lauren Cornell added eight kills for host Chatsworth (4-1, 2-0). El Camino Real is 0-2 in league.

NONLEAGUE

Granada Hills Kennedy d. Fairfax, 25-13, 25-22, 25-12
Synmia Nicholas had two blocks and six aces for Fairfax, but the Lions (1-4) fell to Granada Hills Kennedy in a match at Fairfax.

Virginia Flores had 11 service aces for host Manual Arts (5-0, 2-0).

Luisa Umana had 12 kills on 15 attempts for an .800 hitting percentage and had seven service aces and Olayinka Rahman had 12 kills to lead host Valley Alternative (5-0, 2-0). Sheman Oaks CES (0-2 league).

Los Angeles won for the first time in four league matches and defeated Franklin for the first time.
