First Round

DIVISION I

Capistrano Valley d. Irvine, 25-14, 25-20, 23-25, 25-13
Robby Stillwell had 11 kills, five aces and eight blocks for Capistrano Valley (16-16). Irvine finishes at 15-12.

Crespi d. North Torrance, 29-27, 20-25, 25-22, 25-10
Pat Collins of Crespi (13-6) had 14 kills and teammate Brandon Ricard added 40 assist against visiting North Torrance.

Fountain Valley d. Bishop Montgomery, 25-23, 25-12, 25-12
Derek Hutton had 10 kills, six blocks and two aces and Dan Brahan had eight blocks for Fountain Valley (22-5). John Sutlon had 13 kills to lead Bishop Montgomery (15-4).

Huntington Beach d. Long Beach Jordan, 25-17, 25-20, 25-19
Trey Valbuena had 11 kills to lead host Huntington Beach (16-3). Jordan is 13-12.

Long Beach Wilson d. Alemany, 25-14, 25-23, 25-11
Junior Middle Blocker, Gavin Christensen, had 14 kills and 4 blocks, while junior outside hitter, Morgan Boswell added 9 kills and 5 blocks to take the Bruins to 28-5 overall. Senior setter, Dustin Watten, had 32 assists, and junior setter Matthew Hogan chips in with 24 assists.

Mater Dei d. El Toro, 25-23, 25-19, 24-26, 22-25, 15-12
Dylan Bowermaster recorded 15 kills and four aces for Mater Dei (17-11), with Tyler Bayer adding 42 assists and 13 digs.

Moorpark d. Santa Monica, 25-14, 26-24, 23-25, 25-21
Sean Sharpe had 17 kills and six aces, and Justin Savage had 14 kills for Moorpark (14-3).

Newport Harbor d. St. John Bosco, 25-10, 25-16, 25-23
Gavin Galey had 12 kills and Adam Schlesinger had 43 assists and five kills to lead host Newport Harbor (23-7) past St. John Bosco (14-12).

Santa Margarita d. Los Alamitos, 25-19, 25-21, 21-25, 25-22
Andy Pichard had 16 kills and Michael Runkle had 18 kills to lead host Santa Margarita (22-11) past Los Alamitos (22-7).

Woodbridge d. Mission Viejo, 25-18, 25-20, 25-17
Jon Winder tallied 11 kills for Woodbridge (25-6).

Lakewood d. Harvard-Westlake 25-15, 25-16, 25-17
Simi Valley d. Redondo, 25-19, 22-25, 24-26, 25-20, 15-13

Dan Alexander had 20 kills and 10 blocks for host Arcadia (17-10).

Jeff Hendershot had 22 kills and Mike Edwards had 11 Kills to lead visiting Claremont (8-6) past Redlands East Valley (14-5).

Crescenta Valley d. Arroyo Grande, 25-21, 25-21, 25-20
Jeff O’Neil had 20 kills, Stuart Lange had 12 kills and Jesse Wallace had 40 assists to lead host Crescenta Valley (18-8) past Arroyo Grande (14-5).

Northwood d. Villa Park, 28-26, 9-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-12
Brett Vanlandingham collected 18 kills and Brian Rodolff 16 kills for Northwood (12-9). Villa Park loses its first match of the season after 15 victories.

Tesoro d. Anaheim Canyon, 25-20, 25-14, 25-20
Tim Steadman had 14 kills and seven aces, Matt McClean had seven kills and Brett Cossairt had six kills while Jeff Zornig had 22 assists and two kills for visiting Tesoro (15-11).

Ventura d. Quartz Hill, 25-22, 25-18, 26-24
Steve Dodge had 12 kills and three blocks and Robin Sargent added 11 kills for Ventura (16-6).

West Valley d. Tustin, 25-19, 25-22, 25-14
Corey Sawyer had 10 kills for host West Valley (17-0).

Brandon Lipton had 14 kills, 10 blocks a six aces to lead host Beverly Hills (9-11) over Sierra Vista (7-7).

Camarillo d. San Gabriel, 25-14, 25-14, 22-25, 27-25
Cory Hanson had 45 assists and eight kills and Eric Vance had 32 kills to lead host Camarillo (12-5).

Century d. Warren, 18-25, 25-14, 19-25, 25-17, 16-14
Ramon Mendoza had 18 kills and Ricky Cardenas had 28 assists for Century (10-5).

Estancia d. Loara, 25-10, 25-8, 25-11
Top-seeded Estancia (24-6) was led by Kris Hartwell with 10 kills and four service aces, while Dallas Kopp added eight kills and Scott Sankey seven kills and five aces.

Garey d. Santa Ana Valley, 18-25, 25-23, 26-24, 21-25, 15-13
Paul Yem and Anthony Contreras each had 15 kills and Michael On had 35 assists to lead host Garey (20-1) over Santa Ana Valley (10-7).

Hemet d. La Serna, 25-13, 25-10, 25-16
Ian Baily had 14 kills and Kevin Pratte had 13 kills to lead host Hemet (16-1) over La Serna (7-9).

Los Altos d. Cajon, 25-20, 17-25, 25-20, 12-25, 15-12
Robert Hernandez had 13 kills and nine blocks, Josh Pavloff had 16 kills and seven blocks and Przemek Strekowski had 11 kills and eight blocks to lead host Los Altos (15-3).

Ocean View d. Cypress, 19-25, 17-25, 25-20, 26-24, 15-11
Brad Sweezy had 19 kills and Kody Dubarry 12 kills for Ocean View (11-2), with each compiling eight blocks. Scott Meixel led Cypress with 22 kills.

Orange Lutheran d. Yucaipa, 25-22, 20-25, 25-17, 25-20
Travis Pinick had 12 kills and Scott Nickerson each had 12 kills for Orange Lutheran (14-6). Tyler Luszeck posted 11 kills for Yucaipa (7-7).

Oxnard d. Montebello, 25-20, 25-11, 25-17
Tom Bossoletti of second seeded Oxnard (18-3) had eight kills and 30 assists and teammate Charles Keeranan was 17 of 21 in kill attempt against visiting Montebello (10-7).

Placentia Valencia d. El Rancho, 25-14, 26-24, 25-21
Bryan Simmons had 14 kills for Valencia (8-8). El Rancho concludes at 13-8.

Santa Fe d. Saddleback, 25-21, 25-12, 25-23
Adam Church had 25 kills to lead host Santa Fe (19-1) over Saddleback (7-14).

West Torrance d. Gahr, 26-28, 25-17, 25-18, 18-25, 15-12
Ryan Wilkinson had 16 kills to lead host West Torrance (11-18).

Western d. California, 25-11, 25-20, 25-19
Wilmer Fiapai had 10 kills to lead host Western (17-0).

Downey d. Torrance 26-24, 25-20, 25-13
Keppel d. Oxnard Pacifica 25-19, 19-25, 25-15, 25-18

DIVISION IV

Garden Grove d. Corona Santiago, 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 25-27, 15-11
Kevin Booth had 15 kills for Garden Grove (10-7), while Thomas Jacot added 11 kills and Steve Tran 53 assists and 24 digs. Santiago (17-4) got 17 kills from Antonio Johnson and 13 kills from Tyler Hopert.

Garden Grove Pacifica d. La Sierra, 25-11, 25-16, 25-19
Travis Peters and Jordan Holland each recorded 10 kills for Pacifica (18-1). Holland added 10 assists and Sean Power led Pacifica with 34 assists. La Sierra finishes the year at 7-8.

L.A. Baptist d. Morningside, 23-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-22
Sheldon Sheehy had 12 kills, 13 blocks and 24 digs, Scott Sturzenacker had nine kills and seven blocks and Mike Dunbar had 19 assists for host L.A. Baptist (14-2).

Mayfair d. Don Bosco Tech, 25-15, 25-16, 25-13
Jeff Beye had 37 assists and Manu Mafi 14 kills for Mayfair (21-3), the division’s top seed.

Norco d. La Mirada, 25-18, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23
Kyle Ishii had 23 kills to lead visiting Norco (13-6) past La Mirada (14-4).

Oak Park d. Desert, 20-25, 28-26, 25-15, 26-24
Jason Fahn had 25 kills and eight blocks and Justin Burridge had 15 kills and five blocks for Oak Park (19-2).

Oaks Christian d. Campbell Hall, 25-21, 25-13, 25-22
Alex Walker had 18 kills, two blocks and six digs and Brandon Denham had 45 assists and three digs for host Oaks Christian (24-2).

San Marino d. Bishop Amat, 25-23, 25-27, 25-21, 25-21
Howard Fu had 16 kills to lead visiting San Marino (10-7).

South Torrance d. Gabrielino, 25-22, 25-16, 25-23
Andrew Saldivar had 13 kills and Troy Tessalone had 32 assists to lead host South Torrance (17-4) over Gabrielini (10-4).

Village Christian d. Cathedral, 25-16, 25-20, 25-19
Daniel Greenhaw had 17 kills and Andy Levoe had 43 assists for visiting Village Christian (12-3).

Westminster La Quinta d. Whittier Christian, 25-11, 25-15, 25-14
John Tran had 11 kills, Gio Espinoza had nine kills and Daniel Duarte had 25 assists for host Westminster La Quinta (15-4). Jacob Arenas had eight kills and Nick Briones had five blocks for Whittier Christian (9-9).

Crossroads d. Carpinteria 25-14, 25-23, 25-19
South Pasadena d. Glenn, 25-22, 25-8, 25-20

DIVISION V

Brethren Christian d. Torrance Lutheran, 25-23, 26-24, 25-23
Tyler Ternes had 14 kills and eight digs, while Daniel Phelps collected 13 kills and 18 digs for Brethren Christian (15-1). Mike Workman added five kills, 13 digs and four blocks for Brethren Christian, which will face LaSalle in Tuesday’s quarterfinal round. Torrance Lutheran finishes its season at 13-8.

Pasadena Poly d. Dunn, 25-15, 25-10, 25-20
Phillip Rosenberg had 17 kills, four blocks and three aces, Jake Schorr had nine kills and two aces and Winston Mi had 35 assists to lead host Pasadena Poly (20-0), the top seed, past Dunn (9-3).

Sage Hill d. St. Bernard, 25-21, 25-12, 25-22
Kevin Joyce had 21 kills and seven aces for Sage Hill (16-1), while Macksun Fredrick added 12 kills.

Salesian d. AGBU, 25-7, 25-18, 25-15
Reyes Cervantes, Ryan Phegley and Javier Arroyo of Salesian (14-3) each had 10 kills at AGBU.

Viewpoint d. West Valley Christian, 25-13, 25-9, 25-6
Omar Abuzaineh had 12 kills, Mike Larner had 11 kills and Alex Safyan had 29 assists to lead host Viewpoint (16-5) over West Valley Christian (10-1).

Windward d. Mary Star, 25-18, 25-12, 25-14
Danny Fujikawa of second-seeded Windward (18-3) had 30 assists and teammate J.T. McLain added 18 kills against visiting Mary Star.

Ilan Goldstein had 19 assists, eight kills, four blocks and an ace, Matt Rapore had 11 kills and five aces and Matt Ceran added 12 kills and four aces for Brentwood (13-1).

Cerritos Valley Christian d. Rancho Alamitos, 25-18, 25-18, 25-18
The third-seeded Crusaders improved to 14-7 with the sweep at home.

DIVISION V

La Salle d. Providence, 25-19, 25-22, 17-25, 25-19
Mark Dondanville had 34 assists, Jason Torrado had 10 kills and three blocks and Ryan Burch had 17 kills and five blocks to lead host La Salle (14-7).

Alex Knopper had 18 kills and Tommy Boucher added 29 assists and seven digs for Providence (13-8) at Canyon Country Canyon High.

Reyes Cervantes and Ryan Phaegley each had 19 kills and Javier Arroyo tallied 17 kills and 10 blocks to lead host Salesian (13-3).
