Lynne A. Segall Vice President, Entertainment Advertising |
Lynne A. Segall was named vice president of entertainment advertising for the Los Angeles Times in July 2005. She is responsible for leading the development and execution of advertising sales and business development strategies for the broader entertainment category, including movies, theater, music, media, culture, television, home entertainment and sports.
Before joining The Times, Segall served as vice president and associate publisher for the Hollywood Reporter for 15 years. During her tenure at the publication, she led the creation of more than 100 special issues, as well as the popular Women in Entertainment breakfast, an event that coincides with the publication’s Power 100 issue, ranking the top women in the motion picture and television industry. Under Segall’s guidance, the Key Art Awards, honoring excellence in movie marketing, became one of the industry’s signature events.
In 2006, the National Organization of Women recognized Segall with its Excellence in Media Award. The year before, she received the Women of Achievement Award from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Women in Excellence Award from the Century City Chamber of Commerce.
Segall received a B.A. in Marketing and Advertising from Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. She was born and raised in Boston.
