Twitter #Weekendeats highlights: Culinary mash-up, with pork
- Share via
Monday morning’s #Weekendeats chat on Twitter was a bit of a culinary mash-up. Our chat participants indulged this weekend in dishes such as chicken wings, uni and pizza. Here’s a look at the highlights:
Pictures of these two dishes almost made me cry with jealousy. Check out this recipe for fish sauce wings with a mound of garlic from the Ravenouse Couple blog. And if you’re an uni lover, you’ll want to get some tissues ready. Here’s a photo from Danny, a.k.a. KungFooPanda, of homemade uni orecchiette with uni cream sauce and a ton of fresh uni on top. Just had to wipe my brow.
Jo from the blog Mylastbite.com shared a photo of her shaved pork pizza, but you can also check out a killer how-to for making bacon roses on her blog.
Linda Miller Nicholson from the blog Salty Seattle shared a photo of a dish she enjoyed while in Italy. It’s a sphere of fish with gold leaf, seaweed, saffron and squid ink.
Beth Lee of the blog Omgyummy proudly shared a photo of her homemade duck broth with soba noodles from a cooking class, and here’s Marjorie Taylor’s recipe for a beautiful winter salad made with beets, radishes, blood orange and fennel.
Please join in by tweeting your #Weekendeats at us Monday morning @latimesfood and share your photos with us in our “Weekend Eats” gallery. We’ll feature some of the photos here on Daily Dish, so be sure to check back for more #Weekendeats and #Foodporn throughout the week.
Hope to see everyone next Monday morning on Twitter! It’s sure to be a drool-worthy good time.
