The Image Photo Booth: 2009 Sunset Strip Music Festival
For those with memories of the Aqua Net-besotted Sunset Strip in the ‘80s (though if you have any, were you really there?), last weekend’s Sunset Strip Music Festival was a showcase for their heirs apparent.
Los Angeles Times photographer Spencer Weiner captured the glammy and decadent vibe of the crowd, who paid homage to metalheads of yore including headliner Ozzy Osbourne as well as more current fare like the club-addled LMFAO and easygoing beach-rap of Shwayze.
