The Image Photo Booth: Billabong’s Design for Humanity event
Billabong USA celebrated its 3rd annual Design for Humanity event with a night of art, fashion and music at the Avalon in Hollywood on June 17, 2009.
The evening featured an art exhibit and auction with works from renowned industry artists, plus a runway show with one-of-a-kind bikini collaborations by actress Olivia Thirlby, Katie White of the Ting Tings and supermodel Tori Praver.
Musical guests who performed live included alt-rockers Airborne Toxic Event, indie pop stars Iglu & Hartly and DJs the Misshapes.
All proceeds benefit charity: water, a nonprofit organization that works to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.
