Katy Perry tweets pic of John Mayer as sexy Santa

Katy Perry loves herself a costume, and it seems that enthusiasm has carried over to love interest John Mayer.

Indeed the wearer of whipped-cream-shooting brassieres, vintage MTV cartoon tributes and election ballot garb dressed her man Mayer as one of the more iconic men of the holiday season: Santa Claus.

“Santa baby,” Perry tweeted on Christmas Day, attaching a photo of crooner Mayer suited up in red and, in our humble opinion, posing rather seductively.

We’d wager a good time was had opening presents. Perry and Mayer were first spotted together this summer, enjoying casual dinner dates and pool parties in Los Angeles.

In late August, rumor had it the brief courtship was over, but come fall the pair turned up again enjoying one another’s company in New York.

In December, the two attended a holiday fete and a Rolling Stones concert together. Mayer is currently resting his voice after a bout with granuloma in 2012. Perry had a banner year with a world tour and a 3-D film hit, “Part of Me.”
